How We Met
We met in the summer of 2014, a hot night in June in downtown Sacramento, CA. He was with his friends and I was with mine. We bumped into them after leaving a bar & I happened to know the people whom he was with. My friend introduced me to him. We decided to all link up later & hang out for a bit. That night we exchanged numbers & went on our first date to the movies the very next day. And the rest is history!
The Proposal
Peter decided to take it back to where we had met! Downtown Sacramento! It was so romantic and heartfelt! From the city view where we met, to the song from when we met & all of the details that topped it off! He asked & I said yes! I was in shock & my ring was to die for! I could’ve never in my life imagined a better engagement ring yet alone proposal! I loved every second of it & will forever cherish that night!
Breakfast including pastries, donuts, and breakfast tacos, as well as coffee, tea, juice, and mimosas.
This is the big event! Please pick a seat wherever you like - we're all family today. Having trouble deciding? There will be ushers on hand to help you find a seat and make sure you've got a good view of the action. Speaking of which, while we agree that this is a super-exciting event, we ask that you keep all cell phones/tablets/cameras off during the processional and ceremony - we promise, our photographers are extremely talented, and we'll share all the pictures afterward! (During the reception, all bets are off - capture everything you wish, but please keep clear of the photographers during the first dance and parent dances.) Please remember that the ceremony is outdoors, so heels are not recommended - if you must, please consider wedges or heel caps so you're not sinking into the ground all day. ;)
Hors d'oeuvres, selected cocktails, beer, and wine will be served on the deck after the ceremony for cocktail hour featuring a live band. (Feel free to freshen up inside the lodge between the ceremony and cocktail hour.)
Please find your name card before the ceremony or during cocktail hour (there will be a table set up with cards arranged alphabetically) and place your card at the table setting of your choosing. When it's time for dinner, simply take your plate from your setting with you to the buffet line and staff will assist with service. Live music will continue through dinner, followed by a DJ, and dancing immediately after.

Kendra
Maid of Honor Kendra is Shannon's younger sister. She’s also one of the smartest people on the planet, recently graduating top of her class with Honors in Engineering. Kendra loves to debate about anything and everything, so be sure to find her on the day if you’re up for a good conversation (that’s if you can keep up!).”
Amy
Bridesmaid Amy is not only Shannon's future sister-in-law but also one of her dearest friends. She is a fantastic singer and dancer, so catch her on the dancefloor all night!
Jordan
Best Man Jordan is one of the most loyal people, and Peter couldn’t be happier to have him standing up at the wedding. Keep an ear out for his best man speech, which will no doubt be filled with embarrassing tales from our college days!
Matt
Groomsman Matt is Peter's childhood best friend. They met in Kindergarten and have been the best of pals ever since! He's been helping to put together a fire playlist for the DJ, so if you enjoy the music at our reception, you can thank Matt!
